The hotel had nice rooms for TV viewing but the heavy stairs were a bit of a workout. The location was a bit far to walk to town but still easy to drive to, with good-sized rooms offering limited privacy when opening window blinds. The dining experience was decent with a continental spread but nothing exceptional. The craftsman-style hotel was easy to find with plenty of parking.
The hotel had a boho beach vibe and was stylish, very clean, and hugely comfortable. The service was friendly and attentive, going out of their way to make our stay special. Located a bit outside of downtown, the area was surprisingly quiet and easily accessible for dining options. The dining experience was good overall, with excellent hot and cold offerings. The facilities were modern, enhancing our stay with convenience and comfort.
The hotel was superb with very clean and tastefully decorated rooms, providing extra facilities such as a microwave and DVD player. However, the placement of the handicapped room on the first floor wasn't ideal for me. The service was excellent, with lovely staff serving us breakfast and offering helpful local suggestions and advice. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute drive from downtown San Luis Obispo, close to the Cal Poly Campus and hiking areas. The dining experience was good enough to start the day, although it didn't begin until 7:30 am. The facilities were minimal but sufficient for a comfortable stay.
